Michael holds a Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) from Otago University (2004) and is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor.
Michael has grown up in the area on a local farm. He worked at Plateau Surveyors Ltd during school and university holidays and has been employed since 2004.
Michael has extensive experience with small and large scale subdivsions, both rural and urban, as well as small and large scale Topographic Surveys in New Zealand and Australia. He has also worked on roading calculations and set out, bridge set out, building set out, runway set out, rail alignment surveys, bulk earthworks – storage dam set out and construction, volume calculations and verifications and Aboriginal Lease boundary surveys.
Michael owns and operates a farm locally and is a keen supporter of the local rugby club.
